Meet the Team

Nursing Staff

  • Amanda
    Veterinary Nurse

Amanda grew up as a navy brat, living all over the world before settling down here in the south. She is recently married to her best friend, Joey, who serves as a Clay County firefighter in Florida. Together they have a sweet Rhodesian Ridgeback named Daisy, as well as their Siamese mix Charlotte. Charlotte also happens to be a momma cat rescued by our very own Kitty Couture!

Amanda has always had a passion for animals and began her career in veterinary medicine in 2017. She is currently seeking a veterinary nursing degree from St Petersburg College, and earned her Bachelor’s degree from Voldosta State in Speech Communication and Public Relations in 2013.

  • Jordan
    Veterinary Nurse

Jordan is the newest member of our team, serving as our Kennel Attendant while also training to become a veterinary nurse. Jordan is originally from Pennsylvania, but transferred down to King’s Bay in 2019 with her husband, William, who serves with the United States Marine Corps at the Naval Submarine Base at King’s Bay. Jordan is also the proud momma of their sweet baby girl, Quinn Rose, who loves to play with her ‘bro-bro’ Midas, their Goldendoodle.

In addition to being an incredible asset to our team, Jordan is also a talented musician. She plays the trumpet, guitar, piano and the ukulele; she is also a country singer who lights up the stage singing the songs of Carrie Underwood or Miranda Lambert!

Client Care Representatives

  • Brittany

Shortly after moving to Camden County in the spring of 2017 from the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas, Brittany began working here at Paws and Claws and has been a beloved member of our family ever since. Brittany is a cat mom of two, Wicket and Teri; she is also a student working toward getting her degree to become a medical lab tech, which she hopes to graduate from in next few months.

When Brittany is not busy with school or helping our clients here, she is a huge Star Wars and Friends nerd and loves to read dystopian novels.

  • Mary

With over 20 years of experience, Mary is the smiling face you’ll usually see when walking through our doors. Born and raised in a small farming town in Ohio, Mary met her husband of nearly 20 years, Chris, while he attended Ohio State University. He later commissioned with the US Navy, where he currently serves as a Commander at Naval Submarine Base at King’s Bay.

When Mary is not with us serving our clients and patients, she loves to travel and relish the nomadic life of being a Navy wife. She and Chris have two retired racing greyhounds, Essie and Radar, and love to spend time together enjoying Chris’s shore duty.

  • Ashley
    Marketing Director

Ashley has spent her entire life dreaming of living in a place like Camden County and was thrilled to move to our area in the summer of 2019. She loves RV traveling and exploring the south with her just-out-of-high-school sweetheart Randy, their four children – Daniel, Katelyn, Sierra and Noah – as well as their five dogs – Sparky, Jacob, Kodah, Barry Allen and Lucy. She’s also a huge football fan, that can’t wait to watch her children on the field of Camden County High School – GO CATS!

Graduating soon from Colorado State University with her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Ashley has served as a professional wedding and portrait photographer since 2010 all over the United States before moving to Camden County and joining our team to assist with marketing. But to be honest, she’s really here for all the puppy pets and love!

  • Gus
    Therapy Cat

Gus is our much-beloved clinic cat, who has quite a funny story. Dr. Bolduc’s mom was outside gardening, when she saw this little orange head pop up out of the gardening shed. She scooped him up and brought him inside, mistaking him for her own orange cat, Mickey. As she was questioning Gus about what he was doing outside, Mickey came around the corner curious about what in the world was going on – and it was only then that she realized she was not scolding her own cat!

She immediately brought the new orange cat, Gus, to the clinic to get him checked out and unfortunately, Gus was diagnosed with having FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) and so his new home became the clinic. He gets thoroughly spoiled by everyone and loves to volunteer as our official taste-tester for new food and treats that comes in for us to try.

His interests include sleeping, expecting love at any time, and keeping an eye on things.
