  • Dr.
    Jennifer Bolduc
    Owner / Veterinarian

A graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine with a degree in veterinary medicine, Dr. Bolduc has had a passion for animals since her childhood in Maine where she would spend her time as a young girl finding and fixing animals. She is the mother of a beautiful “mini me” daughter, Juliana, with whom she shares a passion for dance, food and cats.

Dr. Bolduc's journey with Fear Free certification began in 2019 with Level 1, driven by a passion for reducing stress and anxiety in pets during veterinary visits. Recognizing the profound impact low-stress care has on both physical and emotional health, she continued her education, achieving Level 2, then Level 3, and ultimately earning Fear Free Elite Certification in 2025.

This progression reflects her deep dedication to creating a positive, compassionate environment where pets feel safe and secure. For her, Fear Free isn’t just a certification—it’s a philosophy that shapes every interaction, ensuring that both pets and their people feel supported, respected, and cared for at every visit.

In addition to being Fear Free Elite Certified, Dr. Bolduc is also the only Cat Friendly Certified veterinarian in Camden County. She understands that cats have unique medical and behavioral needs and often experience higher levels of stress in a veterinary setting. By earning this certification, she has committed to creating a more comfortable and tailored experience for feline patients, from handling techniques to clinic environment adjustments. Her goal is to ensure that every cat receives the gentle, compassionate care they deserve.

Testimonials

Read What Our Clients Say

  • "I am 100% satisfied with all of my visits to date. Dr. Bolduc is very easy going and was able to work my dog in on very short notice for an emergency. Prices are middle-of-the-road for the area but service is certainly at the top. Unless things take a dramatic turn for the worse, I will be going to Paws & Claws for as long as I can."
    Steven J.
  • "Fantastic new patient experience with my new pup. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable! Highly recommended!"
    William T.
  • "Paws & Claws Veterinary Clinic exceeded our expectations with exceptional service and attentive care for our disabled geriatric cat. After visiting four other local vets and checking out their clinics, we knew we made the right choice here. Harley at the front desk was amazing, and we appreciated how Dr. Jennifer Bolduc took a more personal approach by getting down on the floor to examine our cat. The pricing was very reasonable, even lower than what we were used to back home, but the fact that our high-anxiety cat stayed calm and stress-free during the visit was absolutely priceless."
    Rebecca W.
  • "I'm an employee and also a client. In both roles I'm extremely impressed by the compassion, knowledge and kindness that Dr. B shows on a daily basis. I'm glad to have found her for my dogs. Veterinary Nurse Amanda does an incredible job and genuinely cares about our patients."
    Mary R. B.
  • "I have a dog who battled cancer for over a year. Sadly, I had to put him down yesterday. During that year, the staff was incredible, so helpful. Dr. B is amazing. Saying goodbye was the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but the compassion that each employee gave was incredible. Dr. B treated by boy with such respect and I am eternally grateful"
    Anita C.
  • "my dog is a scaredy cat, and usually takes a couple of days to get her back to normal after a vet visit. she loves the girls at this clinic. not worried at all. it was amazing!"
